This is a review, and history book covering video games created by Konami for various gaming systems, and computers. Th majority of the book focuses on two main series, the Contra, and Goemon series of games, along with about 50 other games, as listed in the books contents page, however things like the two different games with the "Goonies" title are reviewed in the same section, and the later Goonies II, is reviewed in its own section. Each game is reviewed in detail, with the changes between various ports mentioned, and multipule color screenshots of each game. It also discusses various changes to the game from one region to another, and which systemsthe game was released on. The book is a unofficial look at these games, and features ocational box art scans, and advertisent reproductions. Near the end of the book there is also a section devoted to the soundtrack albums that were released for these games. The book was part of a series of books devoted to Konomi games, the early books being "Hardcore Gaming 101 Presents: Castlevania, ISBN: 9781482742183, and the similar "Hardcore Gaming 101 Presents: The Unofficial Guide to Konami Shooters" ISBN: 1500737178. The book originaly cost $25, and was created through Amazon's CreateSpace, was a printed on demand book, and released on June 13, 2017.
